Terry graduated from Southern Oregon University in 1971 with a BA in Fine Arts/ Secondary Art Education.
He has been teaching art since 1972 and began exhibiting his work in 1976. He was one of the earliest members of Portland Saturday Market and has exhibited at numerous galleries, gift shops, and markets. Additionally, Terrance was the first artist in residence with the opening of the Mt. St. Helen's National Volcanic Monument. A native of Portland, he now lives in Vancouver, Washington. He has spent a great deal of his life exploring the Pacific Northwest and draws his creative energies from its local surroundings.
Terry is a multi media creative, often mixing drawing, painting and sculpture together in the same composition. He has taught most aspects of creative exploration to all levels of abilities, from novice to expert and enjoys watching students transform themselves through the creative process. He has spent a great deal of his life exploring the Pacific Northwest and draws his creative energies from its local surroundings.
