Native of the Pacific Northwest Skies.

My interest in Astronomy started when my parents gave me a small telescope. Graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1973 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, to a twenty year career as Air Force pilot in trainer, fighter, and cargo aircraft. Brought me closer to the stars. Then five years as Mister Mom and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1998 with a Masters Degree in Physics. Taught astronomy, physical science, and physics at Clark College for 18 years. Tenured faculty, Exceptional Faculty Award, Department Chair. Professor Emeritus since 2016. Still organizes Star Parties for anyone interested in the Universe.
