Explore Photoshop’s new tools and methods that use artificial intelligence to help you make professionally polished composited images. Masking is a powerful layer compositing method to remove or add objects in an image. With masking you can fix family heirloom portraits or retouch portraits to include smooth skin or remove unwanted hair, wrinkles and blemishes. Photoshop is a bitmap, RGB pixel editor, it is destructive! Learn how to preserve the original data, be able to re-edit your “fixes” and avoid making duplicate files. Pre-requisites: A solid knowledge of computer basics and photo editing programs or have taken an elementary Photoshop class. Students must bring an 8 gigabyte flash drive to class to save their work in the classroom.
