Astronomy professor extraordinaire Dick Shamrell has consulted the stars and chose this auspicious date for our rendezvous with the Universe. This year, Mars will be spectacular! Foster Auditorium will be our planetarium from 7:30 -8:30, then we'll go out to the college soccer field to observe the night sky with telescope views of the Moon, planets, stars, and more! Optional: meet at the fountain near Gaiser Hall at 6:30 PM for a family no-host picnic (and build a solar system!) before going into the Auditorium. All ages - kids included, register separately.

Important Note:

This class is at our main campus location.
