Class - Delegation
A leader’s thoughtful approach to assigning responsibilities to individuals who are ready for growth, create opportunities for the individual, team and company / organization.
• Participants will gain understanding for who and when to delegate tasks
• Participants will understand what clear expectations look and sound like for the recipient
• Participants will learn frameworks for giving clear, actionable feedback
• Participants will practice receiving feedback in a open (non-defensive) and respectful way

Instructor: Janell Payne
Janell Payne is a communication coaching and training professional, with an in-depth
knowledge of speech and communication theory. She has been teaching adult learners
for the past eight years on topics such as team building, high stakes presentation
skills and org health. She is also an executive coach, working with leadership teams
across a variety of industries. Janell earned a Masters of Art in Communication Studies
from San Jose State University.
