Originally from Ohio, Kris received her BAC in Theater Arts from BGSU.
She moved from Ohio to Chicago, IL and began working in various theaters across the city and was Artistic Director of a non-profit theater company that focused on new play development.
In 2009, she moved to Portland, OR to pursue her Masters, graduating in 2011. Kris has apprenticed under world renowned directors such as Tito Capobianco, David Edwards and Elizabeth Bachman. Her most recent work in 2017/2018 includes: Stage Director and Co-Choreographer for "Anything Goes", Stage Director for "The Odd Couple" (both versions), Choreographer for "Oklahoma" and Music Director for "Dear Edwina".
She is currently directing “Hello Dolly” with Sherwood Foundation for the Arts performances
the last weekend in June and "The Three Musketeers: An Adventure, with Music” with
Metropolitan Performing Arts Academy to be performed before movies in the parks with
Vancouver City this summer.
Currently she coaches voice, flute, acting, acting for singers, public speaking, and tap dance as well as instructs larger Master classes on Auditioning and Acting.
