Peri Lane Muhich moved to Washington state 30 years ago from Fairbanks, Alaska.

br>At an early age Muhich developed a passion for history - not for the dates and places but for the people. Muhich can often be found scouring archives, newspapers, census records, and deeds. Those are just a few of the records she wades through to gather interesting life stories of ordinary people who made contributions which helped shape our history. Her favorite quote is from Mark Twain; "History, although sometimes made up of the few acts of the great, is more often shaped by the many acts of the small."
Muhich loves bringing ghosts of the past alive. When she is not chatting with people about her findings you may find her sewing, traveling or enjoying the great outdoors with her husband Steve and their 3 year old standard poodle, Barney.
