Current Classes

Utpala Misra was born in Kanpur, a city in the Northern part of India.

nbsp; Ever since she was a little girl, cooking fascinated her, especially the ethnic styles.  She has a Master's degree in Arts from Kanpur University, India, a diploma certificate in Interior Design from Mumbai and also, has taken business Extension Classes affiliated with the University of Santa Cruz, California.  She is an ardent believer of healthy and nutritious diet, and has a focus on vegetarian cooking, using a balance of herbs and Indian spices.  It is her passion in arts and cooking that drives Utpala to teach and learn different creations of Indian cooking. She sees a growing interest from the community and wants to proliferate the goodness of healthy vegetarian cooking through her classes at Clark College.
