Dan Wyatt's story in the movies began with a boy staring back in wonder at the movie screens of Clark County.

Desiring to get behind the lens and see how the magic worked to provide those moments for others, he majored at WSU's Edward R. Murrow School of Communication in broadcasting with a minor in theatre. Then he changed locales, but kept the camera rolling with a Masters of Fine Arts in film production at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

In between classes learning film theory or shooting and editing movies, Dan gained industry experience both at a filmstock company and a production agency. The contract work of entertainment business afforded opportunity to try out all aspects of the business after graduation, from production to editorial and marketing. A post production company that specialized in theatrical advertising provided the bulk of his industry experience. In 2007 community and quality of life became a more important aspect of the plot so a mid-act rewrite led Dan back to Vancouver. The story came full arc six years ago when he became owner of Downtown Vancouver's Kiggins Theatre, a place he experienced many magic moments growing up.
