Carol has been involved with plant tissue culture research and education since 1977.
She has attended and worked at 6 universities (Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, LSU, Idaho, SFASU, Washington State), and has degrees in bacteriology, horticulture, forestry, adult education, and is certified to teach K-12. Carol is a Master Gardener graduate (2011 – Clark County, WA) and has taught numerous plant tissue culture workshops around the U.S. Carol’s goal as an educator is to take the mystery out of science. She currently is a volunteer at Battle Ground High School where she is helping to set up a plant tissue culture lab, and a volunteer at Clark College assisting with personal enrichment classes.
